Dirties Do It Better - another dodgy mix
This came about from a playlist I had put together then I decided to make a mix out of it. A mix in the true sense of the word in that it is bits and pieces of everything from new tunes to oldies, to familar tunes and not so familiar. No real particular genre at all. The New Young Pony Club and Goldfrapp tracks come from mixes I've been listening to a lot lately, especially Cut Copy's Fabriclive CD (very good). Other tracks from Sascha Funke and Miss Kittin are from recent releases. So there are some good transitions and some ordinary ones which I call "radio transitions" (ie. quick fade-outs and fade-ins).
It starts off mellow-ish, then picks up a bit with a nice Chem's b-side and Underworld's fave tune at the moment. Then it pretty much wanders all over the place again. Hope you enjoy. Re: Dirties Do It Better - another dodgy mix
great mix...you've done it again!
Really enjoyed the Chems cut (hadn't heard it before), and you're right, that kicks up the energy. I like the way Kittin is high transitions into JAL to Tokyo...big difference in those tracks, but you pulled it off!
