Dirty Epic
http://www.stylusmagazine.com/articl...dirty-epic.htm
Riding a drum machine beat so wet you can imagine fish swimming past in the LCD glare, "Dirty Epic" is ten minutes of two-note keyboard fills, decaying organ tones, and a small army of synths sounding like "real" instruments, synths sounding like mechanical devices, and synths sounding like, well... synths—shimmering, pulsating, all those things people use filtered waveforms for.

Re: Dirty Epic
"In fact, one could argue that Underworld served the same purpose in the 90's that New Order did in the 80's: they showed every other rock band on the planet how to make proper dance music."
Now that, is fucking class. |

Re: Dirty Epic
I like it, its definatley one of the top 3 tracks (Juanita was voted the most popular track here, remember?)..
It one of those tracks that, sadly, i don't listen to enough. I wish it could be revived with a 2007 remix, ive listened to it so much it starts to sound dated. Ive been listening to Two Months Off lots latley, it has that 'easy listen' quality, that is liked by all that listen to it... 79 = GI |

Re: Dirty Epic
The "dirty guitar mix" was the first UW track I ever heard (apart from Underneath the Radar of course!). When the played the Big day Out here in Auckland a few years back they played it live, which was the first time I had heard it live after 7 concerts.
