Chems end-of-tour gigs
Gigs in Glasgow, London and Dublin only.

Glasgow gig is a Friday night, I sense a bit of a carry-on

Brilliant. I trust I can persuade you to continue the shenanigans with us long after the gig finishes..

...tour?

what tour?

ohhhh... you mean that thing where they play one or two gigs in California - then do about 50+ in the UK? got ya

and then there's also that all too important line of "we didn't really tour much in the US last time - so this tour we're really going to focus on our fans there, they're definately not forgotten"

...I'm looking right at you New Order, Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack Prodigy

(ok, MA never made the guarantee)

all them bands are currently touring in the UK and elsewhere, and have not YET announced dates in North America.
im guessing almost all of the above bands will be in some part of North America before the end of 2005.
MA...dunno bout them .

the Prodigy were supposed to tour the US in April, quote "around Easter"

the Chemical Brothers were originally going to tour the US this summer (I read it myself on their own news page)

New Order said that they 'felt bad' about the "Get Ready Tour" which really was only 3/4 shows only on the east coast long before the album's release... they had said that they would do a proper tour of the US. There was the joint NO/Chem's show, Coachella, Chicago, and maybe also NYC but not sure about that last one... oh, and all the NO shows were within like one week of each - so if you had a busy week like me (graduating f/ College) - I couldn't see any of the shows

MA said that they couldn't afford the US tour b/c the cost of shipping their stage setup, yet they still seemed able to do at least a few shows in South America

with MA - I feel it was more about those trumped/false charges about 3D having kiddie porn than not having enough money to transfer their stage (as they could've done a more bare-bones setup, or something like UW on their last tour)... so I'll give them some slack

but I f-ing hate the Progidy now...
