New Order WFTSC question (japan-release)
ok - so on the US iTunes store, they have the Japanese release of WFTSC
so on the this release, I know that there's the song "Krafty" in Japanese, and I've already bought that track ...but... A lot of the other tracks have alternate titles, are the songs themselves different? or are they just the names of the tracks themselves? I can't tell much difference in the samples, and I don't want to end up buying the album again, only to discover that the songs are exactly the same for example: Who's Joe? (Lordsy) 5:43 Hey Now What You Doing (Road to Ruin) 5:13 Waiting for the Sirens' Call 5:39 Krafty (Album Version) 4:33 I Told You So 5:57 Morning Night and Day (Pop) 5:08 Dracula's Castle (Minidisk) 5:37 Jetstream 5:21 Guilt Is a Useless Emotion (Fast Synth) Turn 4:33 Working Overtime 3:27 Krafty (Japanese Version) [Dry Vocal] 4:35 Krafty (The Glimmers 12" Extended) 6:54 Krafty (Phones Reality Remix) 7:07 |

Re: New Order WFTSC question (japan-release)
those are the working titles of the songs on the album. when the first disc was circulated, just after the listening party for journalists, those were the tiles attributed to the songs on the album. the versions are no different. there is a diff. mixed version of the album that has subtle differences between the finished product, like no backing vocals on Jetstream. That is the most extreme example though and most versions on that alternate mix are virtually identical. Diff. intro to Working Overtime, diff. mix on the vocals on a couple tracks etc.
In otherwords, don't bother with that Japanese version. ps. did you get my email? |
