San Francisco Dirts

This is only slightly music related: I'm going to SF this weekend and into next week, and I'd like to meet some like minded people. Basically, my wife and I are scoping out the city, making plans for a possible move. She can transfer, but I need to look for work. I do sound design/post production/audio stuff. I'm looking at radio stations, post houses, sound design houses... pretty much anything I can get my hands on. Monday Aug 31st, I'm meeting with someone from SomaFM, and I'd like to meet with other people as well. If anything, just to make contacts and get some possible face-time. It's an exciting, but scary thought to move to a new city with no contacts whatsoever. So, any of you dirts that are of like mind and somewhat like age (post 30--I realize there are many young folks here; no disrespect intended) hit me up off list at shane@marshallwatson.net . Possible drinks are in order.

ah eikman. i haven't heard from you in years my friend. and i certainly do. i'm actually excited about this move, as opposed to the last time, where I was really hesitant. i've rediscovered my sense of adventure. i'd lost it for a while.

hope you are doing well. what is it exactly that you are doing? did you finish school?
