I wish they'd release Bamboo.

Re: 2005-07-12 Montreux Jazz Festival
Not my videos... I made a tracklist, though

Coming on stage: "John can you hear me" sample (I last heard that on the Peel Sessions!)

1. Mmm Skyscraper
2. Bamboo
3. Cowgirl
4. Pearls Girl
5. Between Stars (new song, world premiere!)
6. TMO
7. Nuxx (with baloons)
8. Moaner
9. King of Snake (with sweet guitar inprov)
10. Jumbo, with guitar
11. Push upstairs / a bit of Juanita (the bassline, not sure, though)

Showtime around 90 minutes. Pretty standard tracklist for a "festival" gig. And I agree with Karl: Modeselektor were awesome!

Re: 2009-07-03 Montreux Jazz Festival
the gig was awesome as usual! the boys clearly enjoyed themselves on stage (giggling and dancing), the crowd went mental.. (what's new?) little bit surprised there was no OWB played, well..

the highlight to me was that unknown track! can anyone point me towards some info? haven't been on the darktrain for a while..

thx!

No one knows yet, but the smart money says either "Diamond Jigsaw" or "Between Stars", both of which have been featured prominently on the diaries recently.

Edit: Err, I guess jose m has confirmed that it's "Between Stars".

Don't know if it's been posted already, but here's a few minutes of Pearl's Girl (third video, 2 minutes into it)

Listening to that intro gives me a feeling that we may be dealing with more than two new tracks...
