Re: Tracklistings for all Live Here Now CD's
I don't see any - but that would be interesting.

I mean, of COURSE I'll buy them (I agree - we've pined for so long) - I'm glad they haven't pulled a Pearl Jam, but the boys are so darned good at mixing it up night after night that it's hard to pick a few to buy and I KNOW I'll be getting them all...

*sigh*

Maybe the full Southampton show will be a uwlive D/L (free or paid)? Hmmm...

(Though I guess most/all of the rest are cancelled with the remaining tour dates - I wonder if these will be rescheduled...)

Well, there we go. Full tracklistings are up now.

Tons of Darren Price tunes. "Javelin Boy" is really "Everybody Jack". "Lenny Penne (Darren Price Mellow Acid Mix)" is really "Sidestep". I didn't realize "5 Foot 5" was a Price tune. In fact, it seems that most of the "improv"-ish bridges over the past couple years have all been Darren Price compositions.

Yeah it interesting that shake that higher is a Darren Price tune. Parts of the speech used on that song at Benicassim 2005 was also used at Fuji 1999, so it's cool that they used an old sample on a new tune.

Could you do me (us?) a favor and check whether the Manchester version of Glam Bucket has Karl doing the Denver-esque , or whether the guitar is more subtle and in the background like London and Glasgow?
There is defo more prominent guitar on the Manchester version than on the other cds. It is interesting, also, to compare the two versions of Bamboo (one from Birmingham and the other from Manchester) - Birmingham feels like Five Ft Five mixing into Bamboo, whereas the Manchester version seems like a slow rythm build-up to Bamboo. Plus, Manchester has the extended breakdown as in the Boston version posted by pulsetrain here

Good news from America-land. I got in the mail today my order for the Birmingham show. It's beautiful packaging.

Everything's coming up Milhouse!

So quick opinion, which is the best of these? Can only afford one, really...

Why oh why did they not come to Toronto this tour.

I have also received my America-land CD! The first CD of the Birmingham set is great! Just listening to the second now. Two Months Off isn't really my thing and this version isn't selling me on it, but everything else has been great. I loved the vocoder melodies in Cowgirl, and it's nice to have a solid copy of Bamboo. The bass on that one is killer!

And even though the guitar wasn't as active in Glam Bucket here as that L.A. show I liked the noise treatment in the first half of this version.

If the other CDs are as good as this one we will really need a new Bootleg Babies to get that ultimate experience here! The old one is such a great, succinct time capsule of their older sets.
