underworld's myspace, ostensibly the site most casual listeners would visit, are told as such: The limited edition DVD includes Tomato directed music videos of Metal Friend (previously unreleased), Crocodile and Good Morning Cockerel, live show visuals for Rez, and 3 slide shows including the Abbey Road recording session for the album with photos by Underworld, Live in Tokyo with photos by Perou, and the Book of Jam Art Jam curated and created by Tomato. so that's what's happening in the US anyway. |

however, i know the japanese have a cd+DVD version, and i thought the UK might have 1 also... i've seen that it was listed as a 'limited edition' version, like 1992-2002 japanese cd+DVD.....and thought maybe there was a 'non-limited' normal version with less tracks.. besides, i saw that listing on ebay, from a UK seller, maybe they didn't have the full listing/information yet? thanx -1 |

Copy the first waveform, then paste it on the second: edit --> paste special --> mix --> put both sliders on 0 dB and check 'invert data' of the source slider Keep in mind that your source and destination waveforms have to be perfectly aligned because it doesn't work otherwise.

Re: The Official OWB Thread
I'm just going to jump in here and hopefully save a few people a bit of cash.....
Before you go off and buy an import of a Limited Edition CD/DVD from another market, you should know...... That all the Limited Edition CD/DVD editions contain the same DVD content. There is no difference between any versions no matter what you may read/see (peoples interpretations of what's contained may differ, but the content doesn't). Hope this helps....

Re: The Official OWB Thread
I think this record is amazing.
I dowloaded it today and listened to it today, twice (and yes, I will buy the album when it comes out). Imo, stand out tracks are 'Holding the Moth', 'Ring Road', 'Boy, Boy, Boy' and 'Faxed Invitation'. But all the tracks are good. I presume this album will be one of my favorites. I can't really understand some people who don't like 'Boy, Boy, Boy', it's easily one of the best tracks Underworld has done in years. ... Like when I first listened to 'A Hundred Days Off' I didn't even like all the tracks, some of them needed to grow on me (like 'TRIM' -- which I actually love now and 'Dinosaur Adventure 3D' -- which I think is good now, but not great). My point is that this album stands out to be FRESH and sounding good in my ears and making me smile. And that is what music is all about, making people feel happy (8 Ball happy). Can't wait to have my copy of the album. Top 5. |

Re: The Official OWB Thread
I downloaded it cause I couldn't wait. But I will purchase it. Which reminds me, I still have to place my preorder.
I've only had the time to listen to it once, so this is only a partial judgement: I'm disappointed. I waited five years for this? Nothing really energetic except maybe Crocodile and Beautiful Burnout. The rest just seems too chill and relaxed. Maybe it'll grow on me with a few more listens. But right now, I miss Emerson. |
