Mother Earth (FM Mix)
So is the only real difference to this version the lack of Japanese?
Does the FM refer to radio or something else? Is the Japanese part on the regular mix sampled from somewhere? The shoutout part towards the end of the song sort of sounds like it could have come from an anime. Considering the Akira sample at the end of Dirty this seems possible.

Re: Mother Earth (FM Mix)
Well, the whole intro on the FM Mix is different. It's a nice floating sound with a sultry saxophone playing for the first minute or so.
Throughout the main body of the song it's a lot more stripped down than the album version. A lot fewer electronic samples and motifs going on. |

Re: Mother Earth (FM Mix)
The song is about two minutes shorter, because all the parts with the sampled voices were cut (like the one about the "spirit of the world"), and instead of the upbeat electronic intro that plays before the drums kick in, there's a slow and very pleasant saxophone part. "Floating" is a good way to describe it. Also, the piano part in the outro is a little bit different. I think it's actually a bit better than the album version, actually.
