Autolux
was round at a mates last weekend and he was playing me some new music he'd picked up recently, nothing really blew my mind until he introduced Autolux with the words "right i know you'll dig this, as your into sonic youth and my bloody valentine"
the first song turnstile blues had me in rapature at the beautiful noise heavily drenched in feedback and reverb, and needless to say i went home having borrowwed the album called future perfect which is really growing on me, and i'm noticing different sounds & textures become clearer with each listen which is always the sign of a good album to me. anyways if you like bands who specialise in feedback loveliness then check turnstile blues shame the album's a few years old, as i reckon they'd be stunning live, but looks like theyre working on a follow up so hopefully won't be too long till i can see em

Re: Autolux
very good album. one of the few rock albums that impressed me recently. very sonic youth-ish, indeed, but with an ear for the melody. "angry candy" is my favourite.
