Mix: DJ Viddy - Dark Ambient Mix
Sorry I didn't come up with a better title for the mix. It's lame I know. This mix isn't near finished but I figured that in the spirit of Halloween I'd put this up and since I don't plan on finishing this mix anytime soon.
It's a mix of a lot of my favorite tracks from many sources (albums, film scores, video games). It's soothing to listen to, but at the same time with hints of something sinister at all times. Almost every track, for me, is dripping with visuals. When I hear these tracks I can see the world they're from, the colors, the smells, the location, the time, and a specific emotion. DJ Viddy - Dark Ambient Mix (88mb) 01 - Juno Reactor - Solaris 02 - Eric Serra - The Professional - Feel the Breath 03 - Half Life 04 - Steve Roach - Infinite Shore 05 - Mike Abbot & Aubrey Hodges - DOOM PSX Edition - Computer Station 06 - Masami Ueda - Resident Evil 2 - The 1st Floor 07 - Stephen Root - Alien Trilogy - Egg Chambers 08 - Mike Abbot & Aubrey Hodges - DOOM PSX Edition - Central Processing 09 - Frederic Motte - Nightmare Creatures - Darkness Over London 10 - Masami Ueda - Resident Evil 2 - The Marshalling Yard 11 - Aphex Twin - Tree 12 - Brian Eno - Lantern Marsh 13 - Thomas Newman - American Beauty - Structure & Discipline 14 - Elliot Goldenthol - Alien 3 - Lullaby Elegy 15 - Global Communication - 37319 Last edited by viddy; 10-22-2005 at 05:02 AM. |
