Seeing Underworld in Two Weeks!!! Any stories?

Hey everyone,

Hope you're all having a lovely day!

I've just joined and it's so lovely to see a thriving community appreciating all the work UW have created.

I'm off to Warehouse Project in Manchester to see them perform, not my favourite venue but I couldn't not buy a ticket.

I have no idea what to expect other than one magical beautiful experience.

Wondering if anyone has any tales from seeing them in the past?

Changed my life. I was supposed to see them at Red Rocks in Denver, CO, and the event didn't sell well due to poor promotion, so there was rumor that that show would be cancelled -- this was in like 2007. I got on dirty and posted something along the lines of, "I don't care where UW plays, I will be there, it could be a cardboard box in an alleyway and I'd be there. I'd also die if I could hear Dirty Epic live".

So then the event got moved to the Filmore theatre, which was better, I think, and I drove up super jazzed to see the boys.

Low and behold,t hey opened the show with Dirty Epic -- something that, AFAIK, is pretty rare. I basically blew a gasket, it was a dream come true.

Shortly after, I heard that the boys had possibly seen my quote here on dirty and played Dirty Epic as a result. Not sure if that was true, but either way, it was totally amazing.

I couldn't have asked for a better first (and so far, only) time seeing UW live.

I hope you enjoy it, I'm sure you will, they're amazing!

Saw them a couple years ago at the Hollywood Bowl. It's not the best venue for electronica, but I couldn't have had a better time. Dubno heavy which was SUCH a treat. spoonman was all twisted and glorious, skyscraper was massive, but the two real highlights for me were an EPIC pearls girl, and then a ripping rendition of spikee.

They've been hyping this show on their insta, hope it's a great one!

So many tales that they all merge into one. Seen them 60+ times, and there havent been many bad gigs.
