Re: Long Slow Slippy limited edition vinyl
and i got worried for a bit. you see, i ordered as soon as i saw the tweet in twitter. i didn't receive any messages from the store of its dispatch, today i logged in to see the order status. it was sent the 26th. lame that there isn't a free download of the tracks included with the purchase (maybe it'll be in 7digital? i got all the digital singles for Ova, Nylon and Rah there)... anyone willing to rip the vinyl?

Re: Long Slow Slippy limited edition vinyl
It will not be. UW HQ has reiterated a few times that this will be the only format that it will be released in.

Re: Long Slow Slippy limited edition vinyl
Surprised no-one has posted any comments on the full versions.
Slow Slippy really is just Born Slippy slowed down - I am guessing a better tuned ear will find some additional beeps and blips around the tune. I do like it and given that original is so fast, it still has a good tempo to it - but having listened to the other 1000 versions of it many times I think my brain is slightly confused and keeps expecting it to pick up the pace! Everything But is just a longer version of the edit with nothing dramatically different. It reminds me very much of Edglands... |

Re: Long Slow Slippy limited edition vinyl
Yeah, there are a few bits of original score I'd like to hear more of, including an ambient bit with throwbacks to Dark Train.

Re: Long Slow Slippy limited edition vinyl
To clarify, it is a different version of the song - but the length is the same. The version on the T2 OST is sub-titled "Spud's Letter To Gail" (featuring Ewen Bremner) and the 12" version is just Underworld, with additional lyrics from Karl in place of Spud's spoken words.
