Gigs confirmed in Manchester and London plus Festival confirmations
JANUARY 26th 2009 GIGS CONFIRMED IN MANCHESTER AND LONDON PLUS FESTIVAL CONFIRMATIONS PRE-SALE VIA OFFICIAL WEBSITE - LOOPZ The Orbital reformation gathers momentum with headline shows now confirmed for Manchester and London this September. They are also set for a busy summer. Orbital play at 2009¹s Rock Ness Festival in Scotland on 14th June and in July play the Global Gathering Festival in Stratford, as well as The Big Chill Festival, Eastnor Castle as previously announced. Orbital will play Manchester Academy on Saturday 19th September and London Brixton Academy on Friday 25th September. Tickets go on general public sale on Friday 30th January at 9am. We are running an exclusive pre-sale through the official Orbital web site - www.loopz.co.uk on Wednesday 28th January 2009. 14-June-2009 - Rockness Festival, Inverness 28-29-July-2009 - Global Gathering Festival, Straford-on-Avon 7/8/9-August-2009 - Big Chill Festival, Eastnor Castle 18-September-2009 - Manchester Academy 25-September-2009 - Brixton Academy, London As the Brixton gig is a Friday, i'm betting that when it sells out, there will be a 26th September gig there, and maybe also a Friday 17th at Manchester... ----------------------------------------- Dirty 0900's original message: Crusty rockers are doing it, so why not on the elctronica vibe! Wow! Not entirely unexpected, though 5 years does seem to have flown by...
I don't hold out any hope of there being any new Orbital material, but to be honest they could play exactly the same set at their farewell tour and I'll still be first in line to get a ticket... |
