Tomato held a retrospective of its creative work in March 2016 at the Parco Gallery D in Shibuya, Tokyo.

“O” showcased the past quarter decade of the collective’s corporate, private and conceptual commissions, as well as its album covers, graphics and audio-visuals for Underworld. This anniversary exhibition was spread between the 3rd floor and basement of Parco in Shibuya.

The exhibit was divided between the 3rd floor and basement of Parco in Shibuya. The 3rd floor was the main exhibit and had enough artwork that you could spend 15 to 20 minutes in there. The last two pics basically show the whole exhibit from each direction. They had the all the album art from Beaucoup Fish, Second Toughest In The Infants some of the typography based work from the Dubnobasswithmyheadman period. There was also some other experimental and advertisement work.

The basement floor was a room where Karl Hyde did a live art creation on Friday afternoon for special guests/media only. He had painted white streaks all over the walls and black text over that. There was also red and white stripped ribbons hanging from the ceiling to the floor. There was some installation music from Rick Smith playing in the background.
