pfff... i don't call those books classics
only the "russians", but i read those in german, so i didn't know them either.

3 points through guessing. So, at least I'm a better guesser than you are.

I've always hated the denomination as "classics" of certain books which are regarded must-reads by Boards of Education, but really give nothing to me. I couldn't name a single book I read in school and truly liked; most were just filed as "irrelevant" and "old-fashioned".

me too, I was just happy that I could read stuff like Lord Of The Rings and Dune for my english list

I think the only author that it's a classic in this quizz is James Joyce..
I didnt knew much.. but i was shoked of the definiton of "classic" by BBC

Emily Bronté!!!!! uy.. is like Flowers in the Attic of last century no?
