Edited: Turns out we were next to each other for most of the gig.

Re: 2017-03-17 Alexandra Palace
Rick's set was definitely filmed as there were several cameras there for the projections, seen in these photos taken from the screens :

Re: 2017-03-17 Alexandra Palace
Almost every underworld concert is filmed, regardless of it being released.
This has been going on for the last several tours. Unless they announce it, don't expect a release. later -1 |

Re: 2017-03-17 Alexandra Palace
It did occur to me that they had filmed both Roundhouse shows last year, neither of which has surfaced, this just seemed like the one to release if they were going to do it - despite no onstage announcement and no crane for overhead crowd shots.Nevertheless, I live in hope.

Re: 2017-03-17 Alexandra Palace
Lol - "dynamic crowd movement" - does that mean people going to the back for another beer halfway through the show or the airhead drunk women who like to "be free spirits" in their dancing, taking up the space of 10?
I think if they were filming it for release we would surely have seen some giant signs in places about "agreeing to be filmed" just by being in the venue? (unless it was in the tiny print on the ticket/website when we bought it) What does the band do with all these tapes then? The filming at AP seemed a lot more extensive and focused on crowd shots than Roundhouse. |
