When a board gets big enough and full of assholes, offshoot boards start up, and Atease (RIP) was definitely full of assholes. So, a fair amount of semi-former Radiohead fans, mostly an indie crowd, not really anything of note. within that there's a grip of us keeping each other current on electronic music, and outside of that I've converted enough of them over to 90s UW that they'll pay attention if an especially good one comes out. Denver Luna made it. Our hosts for 20-11, however, were less familiar, and somewhat frustrated.
The one who did know more about them was all "that's him, that's his thing he's been doing for 40 years, it's not the best intro" and everyone agrees the strawberry jam line is goofy, which... yeah fair. |
