Re: Boston Date Added
Wow, what a fantastic show! Special thanks to Mr. John Newsham for providing me the setlist and taking a few minutes to talk to me after the show (and for telling me what a crap place that was for the sound).
http://www.aloha.com/~tabanger/under...bossetlist.jpg Setlist: Mmm... Skyscraper, I Love You Everybody Jack Crocodile Sidestep Beautiful Burnout Pearl's Girl Bamboo (with Lenny Penne lyrics) 5 Foot 5 Glam Bucket Lockin Mono Can You Feel This Bass Two Months Off Mo Move Cowgirl/Rez Born Slippy .NUXX (with 2003 ending as intro) King of Snake Jumbo Hmm, Bamboo, you say? Yes, there was a new song, and it was pretty kick-ass. When I get home this week, I'll put priority on processing the 5 minutes of Bamboo video that I have. It was very nice meeting geoff, laerm, and Andrew (nice shirt, Andrew!). I looked for mkb and dc_04, but you guys weren't in your seats! Last edited by TheBang; 11-08-2007 at 10:25 PM. |

born slippy is sooooo much better with the 2003 outro as the intro. that was the best version of born slippy i've ever heard. two months off was beautiful. glam bucket is amazing. crocodile was classy. it was a pretty great show overall...very mellow! which was fine by me. micah |

Re: Boston Date Added
I came in with a bunch of friends. They all snuck their way into the GA section (one made a fake wristband with a piece of paper and a gum drop!) but I was in the seats dancing my fool head off. That was way better than the last time they were in Boston (in 99, jeez I feel old)

Re: Boston Date Added
Awesome show -- everybody wanted to toss those forsaken seats out of the venue, but had a great time nonetheless. It was my friend's first time, and he called it "life-changing".
Very cool to meet TheBang, laerm, and catching up with Andrew for the first time in ages. Feels like reuniting with old friends, even though i'm meeting some of you for the first time. So this concludes what i'd call the best weekend of my life. Two UW shows in just as many nights. Still feeling high from it all. How long will it be until they're back again? Make it sooner than later, please.... BTW TheBang, can't wait to see the video you captured. |

i picked the worst time not to have internet access.. oh well...you know, i don't think anyone really paid attention to the seating..i was the only person in my section, so i moved to the left side of the stage and watched most of the show from there....then when the inflatables went up, i moved to the center near the mixing board, and watched the rest from there! it looked like once again, they need more promotion. i would say about 1/3 of the venue was filled up. i'm glad i bought a cheaper ticket, otherwise i would have felt slightly ripped-off. anyways, in my opinion it was a slightly better show than the NYC gig....i don't know if it was their sound, or a couple of different songs on their playlist, or the stage show..but somehow it seemed they were more 'up' for their last north american date.. anyways, next time, or if there's someother cool shows, and i'll let you know my contact information ahead of time.. later -1 |

i saw you too! anyways, i was about 3 rows behind you, near the mixing desk, and actually it was pretty cool to see how they mixed the visuals and all the other stuff going. ok people, yes there was a camera that video taped the whole show! yes, and this venue had the lightest security i have ever seen. i'm sure i could have walked in with a video camera and recorder, and got a nice recording of the whole show, visuals and all without any problems, darnit.......(but we wouldn't want that to get out would we?)... anyways, i didn't really prepare for this show to well, and kinda just ended up going.....i do like the tourbook though, boy do i have a lot of catching up to do.. later -1 |

Re: Boston Date Added
Don't sweat it -1. We'll meet each other at some gig i'm sure. I didn't realize you live so close now.
I think the NYC show was better, though. There was so much more crowd energy. In Boston, I was upset because the people in the GA section were not shaking their ass as much as they should. It didn't stop me from having a good time though... |
