Found this by chance, the opening is Push Upstairs from the 1999 MTV European Music Awards (I think? UWLive isn't working properly so I can't doublecheck), to my knowledge the last live appearance by Underworld Mk2

Nice find. Some quick research indicates that you are correct on all counts. The MTV Music Awards was on 1999-11-11. Darren left the band during Christmas the next month.
