god i so wish i could have gone- sounded great - i had a couple of conflicts of interest, and am super poor at the moment, both of which conspired to make me miss this awesome gig (by the sounds of it) now maybe i'll try and scrape together to get to see the man at Union Chapel instead... feel bummed i missed it (being unemployed at mo is not great... )

(although do have a job coming in a couple of weeks....) (so things are up)

I'm REALLY surprised that they played 8 Ball!!!

also a bit curious about 'dirty epic' as I can't really imagine that working well with a 'full band'

OK, I was waiting to see if anyone else pointed it out, but does it bug anyone else that the bass line on 8 Ball is played differently live than it is on the studio version? Throughout the whole song, and it's bugging me!

Not an expert, but isn´t too much treble on these Youtube recordings? And I think Karl´s strong voice drowns out that fine music sometimes.
But the whole concert seems awesome in general. Would be nice to see it live some day.
8 Ball sounds like a bad copy though compared to my favorite, Between Stars. What a beautiful version! 10 times better than the original.
The only thing I miss is Kral´s soft spoken words at the end "...feel the world go round".

I'm sure that's more a function of the iPhone microphone rather than the actual sound
