Hunz - "Thoughts that Move"
Hunz is an Australian electronic musician with a truly wonderful voice. He has a rather unique style, I struggle to think of similar-sounding bands but a lot of interviews seem to always bring up Radiohead, Kate Bush and Telefon Tel Aviv as influences. His first album "When Victims Fight" is one of my most-loved albums of the past couple of years. He wrote his second album, "Thoughts That Move", as part of the RPM Challenge - to create an album within just 28 days, through the month of February. It's available for free online in several different forms, including the original source files written in ReNoise so that you can see, note by note, just how he wrote each song. The website offers several of his other standalone tracks as well. |

I bought the rather excellent Home album by Peter Broderick (for a bargain 4.99) and was inspired to dig deeper. He posts some free tracks up on his Flickr site, very cool. |
