Re: Leeds riot
Cider bar - this thing was destroyed. It had been a proper bar with seating area outside and stuff (one of the tables was what they used as a battering ram on the Carling Bar next door.

Hahah. Well, I've met him numerous times, but I was banned late in 2003 for consorting with people who didnt like him. In January 2004 he banned about 50 people(!!) who went off to start their own forum. He was expecting them to beg to come back but they havent and their forum isnt bad actually. The irony of it was that he joined THEIR forum under a fake nick and started hurling abuse at members. But THEY didnt ban HIM. Its a long story, but the short version is that he's a bit of a twat. I asked to be re-instated, telling him that I had never said anything about him (which was true) and he did but then I realised that all the people I liked were now banned and on the other forum BTW, the forum is called Mindless Banter.

Re: Leeds riot
like you say ally; there was very little press coverage. not the first time it's happened at leeds either - maybe they shouldn't bother and hope that those sackless gets don't travel. arsebags. no mater what's ever gone on at glastonbury, things have never gotten that bad.
