Re: Black Day
Well I guess we can do nothing but wish Mr Smith a speedy recovery. Great to hear that he's well enough to have left the hospital and head back home to the UK though.
It's amazing how close I've felt to the boys for the last 24 hours since I heard the rumours, and I realise what a big part of my life they've become. Last edited by fraser; 06-18-2007 at 10:05 PM. |

Re: Black Day
Thank you Chimp, for the update.
It is beyond words that Underworld and their crew have had to suffer from such outrageous violence, while they try to bring so much joy and happiness and good vibes to the world. As Karl said on UWlive yesterday, they came to dance. Lots of love to Rick, and every one, be well soon!!! I hope you can leave this trauma behind one day, because if we would let the violence dictate our lives, then there would be only blackness. You bring light in! |

Re: Black Day
Thanks for the update.
All best wishes from the BB family for Rick's recovery. I am sure he is being well cared-for, and it must be a relief to be back home after Saturday's traumas. I am so sorry that something that should have been a joyous celebration was turned into something so violent, and loathsome. Music trancends races, creeds, cultures, classes and social strata. It disgusts me that the perpetrators of this offence are too stupid to realise that they were totally misguided in targetting this festival. I know some Dirts believe this should have been publicised more widely in the mainstream news, but I for one am quite glad that it isn't. Anarchist groups like this feed on publicity to somehow "validate" their cause. They don't deserve the publicity, and they don't deserve the attention. Peace, Jx
