here is a list of the ones i like the most :

chromakey dreamcoat.
catchy melody. good stuff. not your usual BoC fare.

satellite anthem icarus.
sounds like zero7 remixed boards of canada. all it needs is sia's voice.
its so chill and really beautiful. (followed by a quick melodic piece which starts into)

peacock tail.
i really like this one alot. it has a nice flow to it, very relaxing mid-tempo beat with a shuffling timbale type going with it. and it builds and builds and builds and with every build it brings on good thoughts. a very positive, motivational song.

Dayvan Cowboy.
starts off sounding like a remix to peacock tail. the melodies are fluid with many other BoC-like songs of the past. Distorted guitars milling around you. winds blowing by you. the feel of walking through an empty farmland..yet in the distance you see something coming towards you. and then boom you get hit in the face with a GUITAR!! throw in a beat, some strings. and you got yourself the next soundtrack to be played at the next new auto presentation. good tune.

hey saturday sun.
what a cool fucking song. its very summery. too bad this release came out in the fall.

slow this bird down.
funky broken beat. works real well. sounds like it came from boc maxima.

tears from the compound eye.
the 70s never sounded so cool.

farewell fire.
sounds pretty sad. its like one of those short BoC melodies that goes a little longer than it should. followed by like 5 minutes of total silence. no hidden track it seems.

On Bleep it appears that BOC have their own label, BOC now. What happened to Music70?

Well I couldn't hold out and was fool to think I'd be able to. So far 4 tracks in and while there is an abscence of outright dumbfounded awe that I had upon hearing 'Music is Math' for the first time, this feels like a much safer approach to their sound. Should bring out a few new fans and tread them close to much in the dark but ever present Morcheeba fan base. I like the music, but fear how it will be accepted.

In the TV series Nathan Barley they used BOC music in my own interpreted perfect context, as background music for trendy arthouse retail stores. That mood is now gone altogether.

After you cool out, maybe you could check some of the artists that don't cause you to take "the mark" to listen to their music. Or maybe you could focus your space and time on something that actually does something for somebody, next to just gimmie gimmie consume all kill destroy, i eat natural toxic waste music, identity crisisisisisisis, don't sound depressing, I'm going to cry, don't watch, I'm cool, stop biting nancy, buy now, go stare at the corner.
