The suspense of having to wait until payday to see if I can still drop $80 on a box set...

The artwork’s been great for these, but can’t say I’m a fan of the one they picked for the official release. Ah well.
Also hey, if I’ve already spent $30 for the official EPs, do I get the rest for free if I buy the box set. Bit of a Bjork move to have to spend another 50 for digital product.

Wonder how limited it’ll be. Imagine it’ll be pre orders and manufacturing closer to the time with a few extra. Fancy boxset ordered. For a years worth of music it’s a great price.

I have a history of missing out on cool stuff like this so I figured I'd preorder it right away. if nothing else it's a cool thing to have.

that seems to confirm it's 5. I'm curious as to how they'll fit #2 on one CD. I suspect they could edit "Appleshine Continuum" down but who wants that?

I actually thought CD1 will be the album, followed by five CDs containing all the songs not included on that.

Would be nice to know just how limited the box is. I can't drop any cash on it soon (that Tangerine Dream 18 disc £120 box is out in a couple of weeks, the next Doctor Who BluRay in July), but I do want to get a pre-order in asap.

well I guess it depends on how "expanded" and "enhanced" the tracks are. I got the impression that the album wasn't just going to be a comp of the best stuff. Also it would be kind of odd to present the EPs with tracks missing, since they do sorta flow together.
though that does get me thinking...since EP 2 is over the max run time for a CD, it'll have to be split up...which does leave the possibility of six episodes. so, Disc 1 would be Drift 1, plus Drift 2 minus Appleshine Continuum, Disc 2 would be AC + parts of Drift 3....something like that

I'm not 100 % sure, but I don't think they will charge you until the day of release.
If you buy tickets for the upcoming gigs, I think they will, however.
