Well, its still there but we are being bombarded daily by Ukrainian chatbots who are spamming all day. So we cut off joining the chat for a while. I am hoping to get a new chat system online soon, but Skype is terrible. Microsoft have removed all the security features. You cant control the room with a password anymore.

Slack is expensive, and has 5GB limit, and 30days chat history only. Unless you pay $$$. So, i'm looking at Rocket.chat and Mattermost. Maybe Zulip. Looks like i'll try and build it myself...

Surely Discord would be the correct medium to setup this on.
Im happy to setup and pay for any cost incurred - I have a media company so its no biggy

If there is energy and desire, I can setup this this weekend.

Thoughts?

I'm curious enough that I've joined the Discord server. As a Born Dirty admin, i'd want admin rights on the chat if we were going to promote this as an offical channel. Lets have a chat on the discord server. The problems with spammers that we had meant that Skype became unusable, as MS removed most of the admin controls.

I run a Minidisc Discord, and it's pretty robust. I enjoy it.
