Don't worry, no one is going to burn you. Sorry it didn't meet your expecatations, but interesting observations anyways.

Here's a link to a lot of comments about the show (the actual newspaper article said nothing). There's quite a few about UW, but everything is in Polish. It would take me a while to make sense of it all and I don't feel like putting in the effort. Anyone else interested in trying?

Re: So what news...of Gdynia?
well they always talked on stage... there is no way around that when you have HUGE flowing tracks. not like a rock band which playes 4 minute rehearsed songs.

and in a festival atmosphere its always gonna be more chaotic. sound systems are set up for dozens of bands instead of just for UW. at a solo UW concert all the fans are there just for them, the sound is set up just for them, the lights just for them, etc. MUCH more cohesive experience i think

Festival shows are always a lot more start and stop.

1) less time to play = shorter tracks, less improv
2) smaller setup
3) need to get all the heavy hitter tracks out there and some wont magically run together

i don't really think it's a festival/club thing per se. When I saw them last time at their own gig in Amsterdam it was start/stop as well (mostly) and it was like a greatest hits show as well, while the gig at werchter seemed to flow a bit more, or at least have more improvisation.
I really wish they would make a conscious decision to start mixing stuff together again because right now it seems they, or at least Rick is happy with the way it's going even though in the early days they made a point about their liveset being more like a dj set and about the continuity. It might also have technical reasons, since now they run everything as audio from laptops while before they ran everything via midi off the samplers, and using midi is a bit more flexible tempo and mixing wise than straight audio. Just a guess though.
