i really like velvet does and felt it would have worked on the album proper. if that's the quality of the outtakes then iifu might be really fun..

i cant figure out what the fascination with off-key vocals are for UW recently. velvet does... yikes.

Some of our best singers are bad singers. Leonard Cohen, David Berman comes to mind. While Karl isn't exactly in that company, there's value in it. I can't say that I know what they're doing, but I do enjoy the detuned nature of it.
