X-Wing Alliance
10 years old, I know. But I just never finished this game. Just put it back on the computer, this is sometimes hard as hell, but I'm still enjoying alot, even with the old graphic design...

Any pilots out there ?

Re: X-Wing Alliance
I played this a lot back in the day. Don't think I've ever finished it though. I used to looove space sims like this. Played a lot of Tie Fighter too, and of course the magnificent Freespace and Freespace 2. Sadly they don't make this kind of games anymore.

Re: X-Wing Alliance
If you can find it, you should pick up Edge of Chaos: Independance War 2.

Re: X-Wing Alliance
hmm yeah I did play the original Independance War but it seemed to be quite complicated since you had to control a whole cruiser-type craft instead of just a fighter. I never got quite into it anyway.

Re: X-Wing Alliance
i was just thinking of all the hours that i spent offing y-wings when playing tie fighter back in the day. never got into x-wing alliance though. i don't think that my pc back then was up for the requirements.

i may have to hunt down a decent emulator and take in some nostalgia later on
