the new album by Broadcast will be released on Warp on September 19th (but it can already be found in the vast space of the internet)

i've always been a Broadcast fan and their unique sound...the spaced out 60ies melodies, the slightly tinny sound, the robot-like vocals of Trish Keenan. their latest album "haha sound" was one of my favourites in 2003, so i am really excited

Work and Non Work by Broadcast is one of my top 5 album all time and they never dissapoint me... this will be good as usual

it's really wierd though.
i almost think it's fake and would be convinced it was if it wasnt for that voice.
the tracks, ALL OF THEM (save 2 or 3), have this intensely annoying distorted fuzz synth while she drones on about whatever she wants to.

and they sound lazy
and lazy is not what broadcast do at all.
so i'm confused.
i hope it's fake.

i have the one with the fuzz synth, too......i don't think it's fake
