Re: Reason Tutorial
Im looking for something that explains everything, seeing as how im a noob just wanting to experiment... but this sounded really helpful:

Quote:
Producing Music With Reason Tutorial, an interactive CD-ROM providing
extensive tutorials covering Propellerhead's Reason software. Jointly
produced by Propellerhead Software and M-Audio, the product contains
three hours of tutorials and resources for beginning through advanced
users. The tutorial will guide you through topics such as:

ù Song structure
ù Principles of synthesis
ù Creating Redrum arrangements
ù Using Dr.Rex percussion and loops
ù Composing synth bass lines
ù Tuning Redrum and Dr.Rex loops
ù Advanced sampler techniques
ù Creative arrangement and transition ideas
ù Mixdown sessions
ù Publishing songs online
ù Advanced concepts and more...

Now you can quickly harness the power of today's most popular music
software with this comprehensive set of CD-ROM tutorials. It's just
like looking over an expert's shoulder as he shows you the tricks of
the trade. Mastering Reason has never been easier. The tutorial
covers new Reason 2.0 topics like the the unique Malstrm graintable
synthesis instrument and the NN-XT advanced sampler.

Re: Reason Tutorial
Ok someone finally hooked me up with the video tutorial... explains a bunch of stuff i didnt know, and im more a visual person so that rocks

I purchased a few books... complete idiots guide to music theory, and two remix books that are supposed to be great

I have Reason and Cubase, and around 12gb worth of Native Instruments VSTs to mess around with...

Dont know which end to start from haha

I wanna buy a synth/midi controller... but i dont want something expensive since im a complete n00b.

Any suggestions? Korg? M-Audio?

Whatcha think...
