Relistening rocks.

Oh, by the way, interlude mix3 is actually Born Slippy. Not too many people seem to know what the original Born Slippy is here

He's got my vote. Somebody get this man a prize.

Wow, that voice recorder is fairly cheap (price-wise). Excellent balance between quality and not being totally gutted if security takes it away. I'll keep that in mind.

At the end of Darc, is that a little bBoyandbGirl in the background as it mixes into Juanita?
Haven't heard that since that video was on Underworldlive.

Re: atl 28-mar uw audio recording of concert
Thanks a lot for the rest of the show, subtlejam. Well done!

I am confused about something though. According to the online specifications, the WS-311M records only in Windows Media Audio format:

http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_se...duct=1308&fl=4
http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_se...asp?id=1308#10

Is that true? If so, how did it get into MP3 format? Also, what recording quality mode did you have it set to? Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to make sure the best quality is available.

The Atlanta recording is awesome. SubtleJam Rocks!
That WS-311 sound quailty is really good.

Food for thought:

I dig the Olympus DS-40. It does record in WMA format, but I use iTunes to convert to MP3 & Audacity to clean and mix.

I use it for recording guitar riffs on the fly & recording shows.
It fits easily into a pack of 100s Cigarettes (just in case you get frisked at a venue).
The only down side is that the microphone is really sensitive. You have 3 recording settings. At a show, if you're close to the stage, you need to use the lowest setting or else it's all bass vibration.
