Re: Boston Date Added
Sucks getting old doesn't it BB?
The day after Skinny Puppy, I kid you not, I felt like I had been skiing the day before. Maybe I should have done some stretching routine before hand!!

Re: Boston Date Added
Just got my tickets! Looks like I got the last ones in Section 3... I wish this venue didn't have assigned seats :P
But, on the uwlive site, why is the venue listed as "Bank of Scotland" ... ? |

Re: Boston Date Added
Well, there is a GA pit section. Tickets were on Ticketmaster this morning. I got some of the last ones for the pit.
http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/01...&minorcatid=60 It looks like Ticketmaster was selling blocks of tickets in the pit, and the front half of Sections 1 and 3, and all of section 2. All of section 2 was sold out by about 11:30 AM. The pit sold out by about 12:00 PM. Currently there are still seats in Sections 1 and 3, but it looks like Ticketmaster has sold about 3/4 of their allocation of those sections. Live Nation appears to have had ticket allocations for the back half of Sections 1 and 3, and this is what they sold during the presale and today. And they appear to have sold out their allocation now. Sorry guys. I didn't know Live Nation would have such crap allocations. I didn't even know this was how all this ticketing stuff worked until I pieced together all the information above through about 4 hours yesterday and today of refreshing ticket websites and watching what seats were available and watching them sell out on both vendor's sites, and through several phone conversations with both vendors (and also unsuccessful attempts to call the venue). I've learned a lot about the ticketing process over the past couple days. Makes me a little upset, but a little better prepared for another time. But especially upset at the charges. $20 of "service", venue, and "convenience" charges on a $40 (or $30) ticket?!! Outrageous! Makes me wish Pearl Jam had been successful against Ticketmaster in the 90's. |

Re: Boston Date Added
still think it's highly strange that there would be assigned seats for an uw concert. Does each "section" have it's own seperate entrance? If not then surely you're free to go where you please once you're inside?

Re: Boston Date Added
Yeah, that setup looks like a drag....
I've been to Red Rocks, the rows are like 3 feet deep. No rigid seats to get in your way! But still, looks like the open floors at SF & NY are gonna be tops! |
