I hear a distinct Chemical Brothers sound (in a good way) in Motorhome. I can't pinpoint the exact track, but CB keep popping in my head when I hear it. Its beautiful.

Thank you for sharing!
The synth at the end of the first song is like a punishment but there are some very beautiful tracks there.
Love to hear Quattro from the old U/W Radio Show. How man years ago was that?

OK, having listened to Motorhome now, yeah, definitely sounds similar in style and sound to a number of Chems tracks, but perhaps "Wonders of the Deep" in particular. But I hear a lot of High Contrast influence in there too.

Does Karl actually repeat 'the rhythm' in one of the new songs? The lyric recycling is approaching parody now.

Yeah, he does. In "Low Burn", as in "always loved a film". What else? Does twice constitute parody? Its rhythmic electronic music, after all. Give me a break. This is the best UW since AHDO and you're complaining about a repeated phrase...

I've been told they also still use repeated patterns of kick drums and hihats! PARODY!

its not as if Underworld's lyrics have all that deep of a meaning behind them - so even if a word or phrase was repeated its not like the song will have the same meaning.

I'd even go so far as to say that reuse of lyrics across songs is within the realm of their sound and fits within their creative output. I mean, while not the same lyric, Cowgirl, Pearl's Girl, and Juanita all use the same technique of a repeated word as a musical element, and they all appear on EE!
