I think it's Aphex Twin, something from his ambient works album. Or maybe Autechre?

uh no, the autechre track was playing in the background in the mp3 Yan posted where the KCRW presenter corrects himself.

(still think that Good Day Today sounds like UW, now I'm actually dissapointed that it's not gonna be ony the album)

i'd like to state on record at no time did I think this was Underworld - and have since downloading the version, listed it so in my itunes folder 'NOT Underworld'

i'm shocked at the idea that some of you thought it was !!!!

not every track with a Vocoder in it is Underworld - see 'Believe' by Karl Hyde, sorry Cher...

hahah no. the clip playing in the background while the DJ was saying that it wasnt Underworld, was Autechre.

Guess i'll go ahead and paste this in here. I got a reply from Chrysalis today but since he was wrong about the song appearing in the playlist, I sent him a screen shot and some follow up questions. Here's his initial response to my question 'Is Good Day Today by Underworld and published by Chrysalis?' I'm still waiting on a reply to my second email.

Chrysalis Music has no claim to the song “Good Day Today.” Additionally, this song does not appear on the KCRW’s playlist of songs aired in the morning of last Friday and most recently on Monday.

Please note that Chrysalis is the administrator for the compositions written by Underworld, including the songs scheduled to appear on their forthcoming release. “Good Day Today” does not appear on the track listing for the new Underworld release.
