and i don't know how you can say that they are incomparable, i would say they are incredibly similar. they are both amazing amazing amazing records, but i summed up the difference between them perfectly in an old (brown!!) thread.....

"blue lines feels like it was inspired by the sum total of music in the world before it was released. protection just sounds like it was inspired by blue lines"
