yea - U2 changed their name to "the Passengers" for an album that was pretty much all "soundtrack-y" stuff. I think at one point in time, a few songs were supposed to be on a specific film... but it got scrapped, then it evolved into an album... (?)
although - that was also b/c Brian Eno (and Howie B) were given more free reign, and were actual "band members" |
