damn, that sucks. so far i've been lucky - i've never had a hd die on me. but since i'm paranoid, i recently set up a raid 1 on my system, so that at least my music collection is backed up...

it's totally and completely dead. no longer spins. i just backed up everything else i have... now trying to figure out how to make my back up drive bootable. arg.
i've got three days to come up with a new live set
