six feet under
i don't want to say anything to spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it yet...but the last episode was aired in america last night. and, jeez, it's a tough one. i have to say, that, of any show i've ever watched, none affected me like 6 ft under. that isn't to say that every single episode was golden; they certainly had their ups and downs...but overall, what an amazing run. i was so touched by the this last show last night, i had to sit with my wife for awhile and come back to reality and just admire them for what they accomplished.
now ...the dvd collection.

Re: six feet under
I'm a bit behind on this show having only seen the pilot so I'm downloading the first season right now. It's gonna take a couple days at least but at least then I can go through the season a nice pace.
This past Friday on the NPR radio show Fresh Air they rebroadcasted a series of interviews with Alan Ball and a few of the actor's as they had appeared on the show throughout the years. Worth a listen, though I turned it off at one point as I felt I was learning more about the show and characters that I wanted to know. linkage |

Re: six feet under
Just watched the last episode. I accidentally read about the ending somewhere just before I watched it (doh!) but it didn't matter too much. Powerful stuff all the way through. The closing song is great, that was in the trailer they ran on the HBO site before the season started... Still have to get a copy.
Have fun grady.

Re: six feet under
I watched a good portion of season one when it first came out on DVD, and I agree that it's a great show. I keep meaning to go back and watch the whole thing.
My favorite character from what I saw was dead Paco. That episode was so good.
