don't know if this is out in the states yet, but don't miss it

fantastic martial arts spoof/black comedy with some superb effects and some very, very funny laugh out loud bits

and when i say martial arts comedy i don't mean like rush hour

its great, but it seemed like its too reliant on special effects at times. like towards the end and when the main character was chased by the landord lady. i loved it but shaolin soccer is way funnier for me

I thought this was hilarious, but I agree about the chase scene being really tedious. I even laughed at cliched bits that I would usually cringe at, e.g. the scene where Sing tries to prove he can kill someone.

I still haven't seen Shaolin Soccer!

Man, I loved it! I thought the chase scene was really clever because it makes fun of the car chases you see in every other movie. The guy using the knives in his shoulders as rearview mirrors and stuff. Great, great movie.

I thought it was a totally amazing movie. It's so over the top that it comes back around and becomes subtle and clever. I've never seen anything quite like it.
