Looking for MTV Party Zone Special
dirtydirtydirty,

Does anyone remember the MTV Party Zone Special with Underworld that was broadcast around 1998? I had the complete show on a VHS tape that I lost some years ago, and I've been trying to track down a recording of it ever since.

The show featured Darren, Rick and Karl in the studio with Simone Angel, and inbetween music videos they would chat with Simone. It was the most funny and hilarious interview I've ever seen from the boys, they hardly took any question seriously.

There's no trace of this interview on Youtube or on the web, but maybe there's somebody here on the forums that might still have it on a VHS tape somewhere?

Oh!

Is that the interview where they do a funny version* of Born Slippy?
I totally forgot about that

*it's not the full song, like maybe just a few seconds, and I think Karl sings about the kitchen sink, and toilets?

Not that I recall. But they joked around quite alot. When Simone Angel asked them about their roles in the band, I remember Rick saying that Darren's currently on cheese rolls, Karl's on ham rolls and so on it was hilarious

I remember downloading that version from Audiogalaxy or Napster back in the day, labelled as Born Slippy Acoustic.
