I'm looking for an interesting biography, I'm not just talking about historic biographies, but something about somebody really interesting.

Now, i'm looking forward to getting Helmut Newton's and Leonard Cohen's biographies.

Any recomendation?

Richard P. Feynman - 'Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman (Adventures of a Curious Character)'.

Ooooh I second that. Everything he's written is great. I just finished reading "Perfectly Reasonable Deviations from the Beaten Track", a collection of his letters compiled by his daughter. It's not exactly spell-binding, but in the interest of building as complete an image of the man as possible, it was pretty valuable.

But, yeah, "Surely You're Joking..." is what got me obsessed with the man.

William S Burroughs is an interesting guy.

Rather psuedo-biog. but a great read none-the-less. I'd be his groupie bitch anyday.

the john peel 'margrave of the marshes' is an interesting read. says it an autiobiography, but its mainly written by his wife after he died
