Wanted: Dirtylist remixes e.g. King Of Snake (Sushi Bar In Dublin Mix)

Eons ago there were regular remix competitions and lots of remixes hosted on the website and disitrubuted thru the old dirtylist. I've just discovered a few of them such as the King Of Snake (Sushi Bar in Dublin mix) and taking the crappy mp3 encoding into account its not a bad remix. Has anyone got any of these?

I did one of these remixes... but I don't have a copy on this computer. It was one of the first things I ever "produced". I'm almost afraid to go looking for it now!

I've got a few of them stashed away. I listened back to my Andy_R mix a few months ago and it needs a bit of work, to say the least - I'll probably go back to it and polish it up a lot once I've got the UW remix comp, the Reznor/Ross remix comp and the Darksounds compilation track done.

Oh hey! I'm the guy who's blog you linked to.

Over six years later, I'm still looking for a decent copy of the "Sushi bar in Dublin" mix I did. Turns out that the one that someone had stashed in their hard drive is a truncated version that is only 5:00. I think there's at least another minute on the mix I did. I'd love to get my hands on a copy.

The version floating around most places is also just 128 kbps, I know there is one with a higher bitrate, but I gave that only to the guy who was compiling the CD. I have no idea who that was, or if he's even active around these parts.

Needless to say, if anyone has a longer, or better quality copy of my mix, I'd love to get it.

i have most, if not all, of the fan remixes that used to be hosted off of dirty or rowla or one of the old fan pages circa 2002/3. They'd be burned to CD. i used to contribute and send to Yannick for hosting. Sadly, many of those got nixed by "Cisco Records" in Japan, which was selling bootlegged 12"ers of the free mixes.

There was also a fan compilation/contest in late 2003...

Will dig through the stacks and see what i've got. But the quality's not going to be great, as the mp3s were already burned to disc.

Holy crap. If one of my remixes ever made it to a bootleg 12" I would SO want a copy of that.
