Drift Ep. 3, Part 4 - Pinetum
“Did you wake up in the place you wanted?….or are you missing something?â€
Wake up to a galloping rhythm track and the rumble of percussion that sounds like the stars exploding overhead; drums as peals of thunder, as portents, as liberation and elevation. This is the best place. If you like… Downpipe, Spoonman, Moaner, Threat of Rain, Kittens, Dogman Go Woof… then Pinetum belongs to you. |

Immediately danceable. Awesome. And I will reiterate that Drift 3 sounds like a journey trough music history where we have now arrived in the 90s. Everything interpreted through a 2019 lens and by way of electronic music, but you could say Dune was the 60s, Custard Speedtalk the 70s, this must be drum street so obviously the 80s and now the 90s. Makes me wonder how a corporation with the Nicks fits in here

FYI, this is the drummer, Otis Jordan:

Hehehe. I am sceptical myself to be honest, but it feels like a journey through all stages of music history Rick and Karl might have lived through and partook in. Looking forward to see what comes next.
