ATHF anyone?
Some of you in the US of A may be familiar with the controversy a few weeks back surrounding a promotional campaign for the Cartoon Network's truly excellent "Aqua Teen Hunger Force"
(in case you missed it
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16902707/

There's a movie coming out soon...here's the trailer:
http://www.tv.com/aqua-teen-hunger-f...I7xDT_5bkOsjHY

I've been watching Meatwad, Frylock and Shake's madness for 3 years now. Can't explain it, just gotta watch!
anyone else a fan?

I don't like that show. The Boston thing was funny though.

I think Carl is the best one on that show.

"So I ahh... put two and two together and decided your pissing me off!"

Re: ATHF anyone?
When that controversy was going on, I hated how none of the media outlets would mention the show. They would just say "a show on the Cartoon Network", which says nothing. I really wanted them to try explain the premise behind the show.

Re: ATHF anyone?
Carl is by far my favorite character. This is one of those shows that definitely grows on you though because i didn't get it at first, but now i think it's hilarious.

Re: ATHF anyone?
It's okay. I've watched it a couple of times and it was decent.

That marketing thing was freaking great.

Unfortunately, this review for the movie is not so hot....Click

Re: ATHF anyone?
Bringing this thread back...has anyone actually seen the movie? "Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters"?? Not surprisingly, it came and went.
Got crazy mixed reviews, though:
http://www.metacritic.com/film/title...ilmfortheaters
my favorite was one by the MSN critic that described it as "consistently pointless". ;P

i'll probably see it on DVD or if it comes to the bargain cinemas.

Re: ATHF anyone?
yeah it collapsed on its own running time i think. the beginning bit was classic but I never really cared about their origin so i didn't care about their send-up of the origin formula either. Occasional laughs in a sea of forgetfull whatever. But the beginning part was classic.

Re: ATHF anyone?
hahaha, oh man, i saw that movie twice. it was pointless and hilarious, though there might have been more plot or narrative than i would have liked.

but shit, it was better than grindhouse.
