Lemonworld 2006-05-13 how to split it
Ok boys and girls, here is how to split the recent 3hr Lemonworld broadcast. If you follow these detailed instructions to the letter you'll have the mp3's in no time at all:
You are now ready to split the mp3. Click the Split! button and in a few seconds it will be done. This will create 37 mp3's that are tagged with Name, Title, Track Number, Genre and Comment, and are named in a numbered format with Artist and Title. It will also create a labelled WinAmp .m3u playlist and a new .cue file also. Macintosh users: There is a freeware tool also called cue-splitter for MacOS X that will take the above mp3 and cue files, allow you to similarly split and tag the mp3 with Name, Title, Track Number and Genre, and name the files in a numbered format with Artist and Title. EDIT: Some Mac users are finding that cue-splitter v2.6 and v2.5.2 crash when you click "split". The solution is to use v2.2.2 but there is a check inside it which means it will only run on MacOS 10.3. If youre using MacOS 10.3 this isnt a problem, but if you're using 10.4 the solution is below. I know this easy fix works because I made it myself! 1. get the cue-splitter v2.2.2 2. get HexEditor 2.0 from macupdate.com or versiontracker.com 3. load in the cue-splitter to HexEditor. 4. find Resources/MacOS and go to offset 00009E10 5. look for 10.3, change to 10.4. 6. save and run ![]()
