So, anyhoo....
I've done it again.
I have gone through at least three years now where the lifeblood which is my existence, which makes my heart beat, has been neglected to the point where all the joy evaporates. Why does this happen? How can it be that the joy of of music can be pushed aside by real life crap that invades and occupies every inch of the soul? In the past year I have bought no new music. I have listened to barely a thing on the radio. I have become a shell of the real me again, filling my world with work. Help. Someone. I need new stuff. I need lifeblood. I need a serious transfusion of amazing music. And I need it now. ![]()

Thanks Bryant!
Cut Copy and Passion Pit - excellent (Had already heard some Cut Copy before. Good stuff) MGMT - not too bad. Quite like. Bon Ivor - not my cup of tea, but not bad. Thank you! ![]()

Re: So, anyhoo....
If you'd like something poppy and happy, sping the wheel and point where it stops you'll pretty much get pretty much everything that sounds/looks/seems pretty much the same.
If you'd like fresh please view our "Song of the Day" thread for various new under the radar performers. I, personally, have found many of these suggestions sometimes lead to other listening gems from the same artists. Pick a door . . .

Re: So, anyhoo....
First of all, sorry to hear about the hard time you've been having. I remember we used to chat quite regularly before, but it seems you've been just swamped with work and other duties. It's hard when you don't have any time for yourself and I hope you can find a way to make your life more balanced again!!
I haven't really bought or sought out much new music the past year or so, but here are some things I though were good anyway: Jungle By Night Quite young band playing sort of Fela-Kuti style Afrobeat. You'd never guess they were dutch ![]() Egbert Dutch techno producer making a name for himself lately. Been enjoying his productions a lot. He did the guestmix on John Digweed's Transitions show a while back with all his own productions and remixes which is worth checking out. I've also quite enjoyed the last Elbow album, Build A Rocket Boys. Their music seems to always have an element of joy and hope without getting too obvious or corny about it. And here's another nice techno mix by Stacey Pullen if you feel the need for some sonic energy ![]()

Re: So, anyhoo....
lack of U/W radio shows and glimpses of unreleased gold crumbs can take me to unpredictableporridge.com and cdbaby.com sometimes
