Underworld - 1992-2002 - 2xCDr Japanese Promo

According to Matt's site and my knowledge this Japanese promo 1992 2002 (and German promo and Argentinian commercial version 1992-2002) has two special tracks:

Jumbo (at full lenght, as it is now released on 3CD version 1992 -2012)
Dirty (in full lenght 11:37), on the vinyl Lemon Interupt - Dirty its 11:17 or so... On the Dirty Epic/Cowgirl single Dirty Epic (Dirty Mix) its again 11:17.

So 11:37 version of Dirty its only on Japan, German promos and Argentinian commercial version.

My question is how the 11:37 sound like, I mean what part is extended, outro maybe?

Correct, this is the only place to get the 11:37 version of Dirty. The only difference is more extended outro ambiance. So, it's really only necessary for OCD completists.

I used to have an mp3 of the longer 'dirty'

if I remember correctly - it just uses a bit more of that sample from "Akira" soundtrack -> "Dolls' Polyphony"

I was just doing a lil remastering to make the long versions I had to fit in with the rest of the 2002/2012 anthologies (NUXX, Cowgirl, Dirty, Crocodile) by just taking both versions, stickin' them in Reason side by side and adjusting EQ on the original version until I couldn't hear any difference.
Anyway, I found that Dirty on 1992-2002 has an extra 16 seconds that must have been edited out of the original at 8:00 (comparison version: TVT, Dirty Epic/Cowgirl EP)
Where in the TVT version the extra drums just sort of appear at 8:00, in the 1992-2002 version they slowly build for those extra 16 seconds. Putting the extra bars gets me to 11:30, which is pretty close, so maybe the Dolls' Polyphony outro does fade a little longer. I dunno, I haven't heard it.
Hey, if it's a promo-only version, is it allowed to be uploaded somewhere in the RTSR spirit?

Nice catch on where that difference is. Listening to it again, that edit accounts for the majority of the extra length, whereas the outro is only about 6 seconds longer than the single version. So 6 seconds on the outro plus the extra 16 seconds on the edit you found accounts for the extra time.

As for sharing it, I'd say probably not, as it's still official material, which could always get a retail release later (see longer Jumbo).

Very true. I only bought this promo from bigscreensatellite for the longer version of Jumbo. I have 4 different versions of the 92-02 anthology - which is why I'd like to pass this copy on.
