Through file transfer protocols, we are sharing boots, needed again

To glide downhill through the night-snow,

Five feet hit five points and roll eight balls into the blood.

I am in over my head in Underworld.




Backing tracks to five years in the life, whether sleepless at 4 am or bringing light in.

I watch the layered films and resonate with dreams of three silhouettes behind a desk.

And when I can take no more of this wishful thinking, I’m 30,000 feet over distant skyscrapers,

Feeling geography, touching the streets of New York with book in hand as Karl might do, focusing on traffic voices as Rick might try.

And Finally, we become chemical, thousands as one, the visions made real,

Pong fantasies and sparkling suit, the strips for tracks, the historic guitar.

Every unrestrained body repeating that sentiment:

“This is not to be missed, this is Underworld, we are taken in.”
